Rules and quality bar

Every contribution is reviewed. Reviewers check category, sources, dates, grammar/clarity, and structure.

Rejection reasons

• Incorrect title
• Incorrect description
• Incorrect date
• Inadequate source
• Wrong category
• Irrelevant submission
• Poor thumbnail quality
• Other (written reason)

Timeline-specific

• Source, source type, source URL, and date are required
• High-signal sources only — not random anons
• Must attach a valid sector (or Others)
• Duplicate headlines/summaries inside a Topic get queued
• Source domain should be a recognized outlet when source checks are on
• Media URLs must actually render
• Body should actually relate to the source URL

Atlas-specific

• Valid graph branch placement (not a continent root alone)
• Do not invent X/Twitter handles on People cards
• Sources and dates you would defend in public
• Skip rather than guess

Repeated rejections add strikes and can block contributing. See Points and standing.
