Glossary
Short definitions for ChronoBlock-specific language. Product words, not a crypto textbook.
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Atlas | The knowledge graph. One card per entity; category pages show the same card, not copies. |
| Card / block | A single Atlas entity (person, protocol, event, concept, …) with facts, highlights, sources, and links. |
| Timeline | The curated feed of high-signal posts grouped into Topics. |
| Topic | An ongoing story. Posts under a Topic are in release order. Has Hotspots, Discussion Highlights, comments, and a Follow button. |
| Post | One sourced item under a Topic (headline, summary, source URL, optional media). |
| Time Capsule | The day's Topics (and sentiment), browsable for any past date. |
| Sector | A tag on a Topic (Investors, DeFi, Policy, Bitcoin News, …). A Topic can have several. All means no filter. |
| Hot! | Computed trending list (top engaged posts/Topics). Never stored as a sector tag. |
| Hotspots | Links to where the discussion is happening (X, Reddit, articles, Discord, Telegram, …). |
| Discussion Highlights | Short bullets summarizing a Topic. Older bullets stay as written. |
| Explore | Discovery tab: stories, trending/recent cards, calendar, On this day. |
| Arena | Daily engagement hub (streaks, games, quests, Focus of the Day). |
| Chrono Assist | Signed-in side panel that answers from Atlas, Timeline, and the calendar, with citations. Pro and staff. |
| Follow | Subscribe to a card or Topic. New material sends a notification (not Assist). |
| Bookmark | Save a post or Topic to your profile. |
| Reminder | A datetime you set on a card or Topic; fires into your notification inbox. |
| Contribution | A queued add/edit (card, Timeline post, calendar event) waiting for review, unless a privileged role publishes directly. |
| Standing | Anti-abuse record of rejection strikes and temporary blocks. |
| Points | Ledger balance from approved contributions, games, quests, referrals. Boosted by streak. |
| Chronos (₡) | Play-money inside Call It. Separate from points; can be bought with points. |
| Pro | Membership: Assist + highlight-category notification filters + badge. Admin-granted today. |
| Card Claim | Verified ownership of a People card, with a tier (Rushmore → Citizen). |
| Partner Watch | Staff-watched official partner URLs that become highlights on a chosen Atlas card. |
| Focus of the Day | Arena spotlight. Editorial default; can be a paid partner slot. |
| Hot Deals | Isolated promotions/airdrops/offers — not mixed into Atlas or Timeline knowledge. |
| Fallen / defunct | Atlas treatment for entities marked no longer active. |
