Topics and Hotspots

A Topic is the unit of a story. When you tap a post's Topic label, ChronoBlock shows every post under that Topic in chronological order. You follow one incident across sources without hopping platforms.

Inside a Topic

• All posts in release order
• Hotspots — links to X, Reddit, articles, Discord, Telegram, and other places the discussion is happening
• Discussion Highlights — key insights summarized from those sources (append-only; new bullets add, old ones are not silently rewritten)
• Topic-level comments
• Follow button and following count
• Optional Chrono Assist: ask for a summary of this Topic (Pro / staff)

One story, many posts

Example:

• Topic: ProtocolX Rekt for $20M
• Post: The attacker published a message to the devs
• Post: ProtocolX paused contracts
• Post: Post-mortem published

Each post still has its own page at /post/[id].

Creating or joining a Topic

When you compose a post, you attach it to a live Topic (within the configured window) or propose a new one. Close matches may be queued so we do not fork one story into three Topics. See Post to the Timeline.
